The Nippon Connection Festival is organized on a voluntary basis and depends on donations and public funds. Help us create a diverse festival.
As a NIPPON FRIEND each year you receive the festival catalog and a festival poster, as soon as they are printed, as well as invitations to the opening ceremony and an exclusive Meet & Greet with filmmakers and artists. As a welcome present, all new supporting members receive a thank-you-set with a festival t-shirt, a bag, and a keyholder. (Attention: Shipping of the welcome present is only possible within Germany. We kindly ask for your understanding.)
You'd love to built a network with interesting contacts in the film and culture scene? Or you'd love to share your knowledge and expertise, and contribute your own ideas? In any case, you are welcome!
Donations up to 300 € can be submitted to the tax office without an official donation receipt using the pay-in slip of the bank transfer (e.g. a bank statement). For amounts over 300 €, we will of course issue a donation receipt.
Supporting membership fee
Minimum 100 € per year – Larger contributions are also highly welcome and support the festival a lot.

Donations
One-time donations are highly welcome as well, of course! Every single donation helps us organize a very special festival. In the form, for "I would like you to use my donation for a certain project" please select "No restriction", and for the question "How often would you like to donate?" select "once".
